Terms of Service

Last updated: June 12, 2026

The short version

  • • Use the service lawfully and don't spam people.
  • • Your subscription is billed via Stripe — cancel anytime, no questions asked.
  • • The leads you collect are yours. Don't resell them as a standalone database.
  • • We're a small team building something useful — work with us, not around us.

1. Who These Terms Are Between

Local Leads (“the Service”) is operated by Developios. By creating an account or using the Service in any way, you agree to these Terms. If you're signing up on behalf of a company, you're agreeing on behalf of that company — make sure you have the authority to do so.

If you don't agree with any part of these Terms, the right move is to not use the Service. We'd rather have that be a clear, explicit choice than something buried in fine print.

2. What Local Leads Actually Does

Local Leads is two things working together:

  • A Chrome extension that runs in your browser when you're on Google Maps and collects publicly visible business listings from your search results — name, address, phone number, website, review count, and category.
  • A web dashboard where those leads are stored, automatically deduplicated, filtered, and exported as CSV.

The extension only runs when you explicitly click “Start Scrape” on a Google Maps search page. It reads the same public information anyone can see — it doesn't access private APIs, doesn't bypass any restrictions, and doesn't run in the background when you're doing other things.

3. Your Account

You sign in with your Google account. You must be at least 18 years old to use Local Leads. By signing up, you confirm that the information associated with your account is accurate.

You're responsible for everything that happens under your account — including activity from anyone you share access with. If you suspect your account has been compromised, contact us at hello@developios.com immediately.

Creating multiple accounts to get around the free plan's quota is not allowed. We reserve the right to merge or close duplicate accounts.

4. Plans, Pricing & Payment

We offer several plans to suit different scales of use:

Free

100 leads/month, 1 project, basic features. No credit card required.

Starter

2,500 leads/month, 5 projects, smart deduplication, filters, and priority support. Billed monthly or annually.

Pro

15,000 leads/month, unlimited projects, no database cap, the full feature set, and dedicated support. Billed monthly or annually.

Lifetime

Occasionally offered as a one-time purchase at a fixed price. Grants permanent access to the equivalent plan's features as they exist at the time of purchase, subject to fair-use limits.

Current prices are shown at checkout and on our pricing page. Prices may change. If we raise the price on an active recurring plan, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice before the new price applies to your account.

All payments are processed by Stripe. Your card is charged at the start of each billing period. We never see or store your full card number — Stripe handles that entirely.

5. Cancellations & Refunds

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings — no emails, no forms, no retention flows. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You keep full access until then, and you won't be charged again after that.

We don't issue partial refunds for unused days on monthly plans. For annual plans: if you cancel within 14 days of your first annual payment and haven't made significant use of the service, reach out and we'll consider a refund on a case-by-case basis.

Lifetime deal purchases are final. We don't offer refunds on one-time lifetime access payments.

6. Lead Quotas & Deduplication

Each unique business collected counts as one lead against your monthly quota. Quotas reset on the first of each month (UTC). Unused quota doesn't roll over — each month starts fresh.

Our deduplication system automatically identifies businesses you've already collected based on name and address. If the same business appears in two different searches, it's stored once and counted once. This is a best-effort system — occasional edge cases (businesses with very similar names at nearby addresses) may not deduplicate correctly.

We don't guarantee the accuracy of data sourced from Google Maps. Phone numbers change, businesses close, addresses get updated. The data is a starting point for your outreach, not a verified source of truth.

7. Your Lead Data

The business listings you collect are yours. We store them on your behalf. You can export your entire lead database as CSV at any time from the dashboard — no hoops to jump through.

If you close your account, you have 30 days to export your data before it's permanently deleted. We don't hold it hostage.

What you can't do: resell the leads you collect through Local Leads as a standalone database or lead list product — for example, packaging them up and selling them to a third party as “leads.” Using them for your own sales, marketing, or research is completely fine.

It's your responsibility to use this data in compliance with applicable law — CAN-SPAM, GDPR, CCPA, TCPA, and any other regulations that apply to how you contact people. Local Leads gives you the tool; how you use it is on you.

8. What You Can't Do

Most of this is obvious. Don't use Local Leads to:

  • Send unsolicited bulk emails or text messages to businesses you collect — that's spam, and it's illegal in most jurisdictions
  • Harass, threaten, or stalk individuals or businesses using data collected through the service
  • Scrape or extract data from the Local Leads web app itself
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to circumvent plan quotas or access controls
  • Create fake accounts or use the service in ways designed to game our systems
  • Violate Google's Terms of Service for Google Maps in ways that expose our service to risk
  • Use the service for any purpose that's illegal where you are

We're not trying to trap you with a long list of rules — we're just saying: be a reasonable person and use this responsibly.

9. Intellectual Property

Local Leads — the platform, codebase, design, and brand — is owned by Developios. Using the service doesn't give you any ownership rights in the platform itself.

The leads you collect are yours. Any data you bring into the service (your projects, notes, custom fields if we add them) stays yours. We don't claim ownership over your data.

10. The Service & Changes to It

We aim to keep Local Leads available around the clock, but we can't guarantee 100% uptime. Maintenance, infrastructure issues, and the occasional bug happen. We'll communicate planned downtime when possible.

We may add, change, or remove features over time. We'll give reasonable advance notice for significant changes that affect paid plan value. Building a product means it evolves — we won't freeze features you rely on without warning.

11. Termination

By you

You can close your account at any time from your account settings or by emailing us. See Section 5 for how refunds work on cancellation.

By us

We can suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, abuse the service, or engage in conduct that harms other users or our infrastructure. For serious violations — like running spam campaigns using data collected through the service — we reserve the right to terminate without notice and without refund. For less serious issues, we'll typically reach out first.

When an account is terminated for cause, any prepaid subscription fees are non-refundable.

12. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't warrant that the service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that the data sourced from Google Maps will be accurate or complete.

We're not responsible for how you use the lead data you collect, or for any consequences that arise from your outreach activities.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Developios' total liability for any claim arising out of or related to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months immediately before the event giving rise to the claim.

We won't be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages — including lost revenue, lost data, or lost business opportunities — even if we were advised that such damages were possible.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as the service evolves. When we make material changes, we'll notify you by email and with an in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.

If a change affects your rights in a way you're not comfortable with, you can cancel your account before the new Terms take effect.

15. Contact

Questions about these Terms, billing issues, or anything else — email hello@developios.com. You can also use the contact form.
